SUMMARY 

This is a contract where a buyer (hirer) agrees to rent an asset from a seller (usually a financier) for a specified period and make regular payments. Ownership of the asset remains with the seller until the buyer has paid all instalments. Once the final payment is made, ownership is transferred to the buyer.
